Partap Aggarwal, a seasoned entrepreneur, is the co-founder and Managing Director of IDS Infotech Limited. With global offices and over 1000 global employees, IDS provides Software and IT services to international clients in Content Management and Publishing, Litigation, Intellectual Property and Healthcare. In the year 2012-13, IDS was awarded the ‘Highest Software and IT Exports Company from Punjab’.

Partap Aggarwal also founded IDEAS, Inde Dutch Engineering and Aerospace Services, in collaboration with a Dutch precision manufacturing group as well IDS-Argus India Pvt. Limited, a joint venture with Argus Management, CA, USA providing Physician Practice Management Services. He is also the founding Director of Delta Information Services Limited, providing education in the field of IT, Banking and Vocational training.

A pioneer of the IT industry in his region, Partap has proven to be an innovator and trendsetter by spearheading numerous initiatives to improve the overall posture of the industry. He is currently serving as Chairman of British Business Group (BBG) Chandigarh. He is also co-chairing the Chandigarh chapter of NASSCOM. Partap also chairs the Institute Management Committee of Women’s ITI in Chandigarh. He is the immediate Past President of TiE for Punjab, H.P. and Chandigarh. He has served as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Chandigarh for 3 years and chaired the local desk of Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC). He has been a member of the advisory group of Governor of Punjab and Haryana and is the recipient of Special Veteran award by the Software Technology Parks of India and Udyog Ratan Award from Punjab University.

Being a part of Chandigarh Angels has been a super experience for me. Not only it gave me a platform to learn the way to invest, understand new startup environment but also gave me a challenge on how to build my own business better while interacting with fellow members.
