With 15 years plus experience in diverse fields such as as: Entertainment Media & Journalism, International Cruise Industry, Sumeer is an entrepreneurship Crusader, a Motivator. He has conducted over 300 events related to entrepreneurship awareness and development in the northern region. Through these events at academic and University level has helped him sensitise over 15000 Students and professionals in last 5 years. As a Startup community Curator, he has been able to develop a large network of voluntary Mentors pan India and has himself mentored successful Startups like Xovion technologies, Edurev, Logolize, ItMatic and more… His intellectual interests focus on economics, thought leadership, strategic management, competitive strategy, and entrepreneurship at Startup Level.
From the Past:
Sumeer is born and raised in the entrepreneurial Hub of India-Ludhiana-Punjab. . He has mentored over 200 Startup enthusiasts in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh region and has helped raise first round of Funding for various startups from his Investor network.
Recently he had successfully headed two intensive Startup Projects a) Startup Weekend Punjab at Progressive Punjab Investor Summit 2015 held at ISB, Mohali. b) Startup Weekend for Women and Startup Weekend Haryana held during Happening Haryana Investor Summit 2016 at Hotel Leela Ambience Gurgaon in March 2016. He was applauded by the Punjab and Haryana Government for his efforts in the respective States. Noticeably he was honoured and appreciated by Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar Ji at Happening Haryana Investor Summit in March, 2016.
