Apply to Pitch

FAQs

Chandigarh Angels Network facilitates investment into early stage ventures and startups where the interest of our investors is closely inclined. CAN investors mostly are business professionals with their experience of building and running successful businesses.
Simply fill the Apply to Pitch form on our website or send us your investor deck on startups@chandigarhangelsnetwork.com
Our secretariat goes through your application and checks the invisibility of your business on various parameters. If required, the investors are also included in the process. This process typically takes 2-4 weeks before we let you know our decision on whether to take it further or not. If you are selected, you may be asked to present your business to our investors in a monthly elevator pitch session organized by our secretariat.
We require your presentation with summary of your startup covering the aspects like problem statement, your solution, value proposition, traction with proof, product stage, amount of funding needed, use of funding, projection plan, team details etc. You may download our investor deck format from this link.
If you are able to catch enough eyeballs from your presentation at CAN, you will be called for a separate meeting with our investors where they will look deeper into the deal flow and question you on various aspects before taking their decision to invest. Through this meeting you shall also get clarity on whether or not we will pursue the deal. If decided to proceed further with mutual consent, we shall conduct due diligence on your business.
Our pitching sessions are organized once a month in Chandigarh tricity region as of now. If you are successfully shortlisted through the initial vetting and filtration for the pitching session, you have to be physically present for the detailed discussion and presentation.
Our angels collectively invest on a range of Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 2 Crore depending on the stage of the startup.
