Start-up entrepreneurs are pitching their ideas to investors at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) here. Chandigarh Angels Network signature event “Cannable” has the support of the institute’s computer science engineering (CSE) department.

Started on Thursday, the three-day event centred on panel discussions, live pitches, and experience-sharing will close on October 28 at Punjab University’s law auditorium. Big investors back this start-up and innovation programme (SIP) to help this region’s young entrepreneurs know how to sustain new businesses and win investment. More than 600 start-ups have registered, so far, while 30 angel investors will look at the ideas from three live-pitch sessions on the final day.
