Akshay Verma is an MBA from SP Jain-Mumbai and is currently the Managing Director of VTC Group, a business conglomerate spanning high volume logistics, technical education and hospitality enterprises in North India.
Akshay joined his family business at the age of 23 has consistently driven double digit growth on an annual basis while diversifying it from a material handling firm.
His first venture was the TOY Hotel, conceptualized on fashion and recently strengthened by opening of a chic cocktail bar, The Back Room.
Akshay’s second venture, currently the pet, is FMCG distribution primarily for P&G covering one of their ten largest geographical sectors in India.
As for work so for play: Akshay enjoys many sports both individual and team ones. He doesn’t miss his Sunday golf, relishes a game of squash on an atypically relaxed weekend.
