Simarpreet is an Electrical Engineer, MBA from SP Jain, Mumbai, specialising in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He also holds an executive degree from the London School of Business. He is the Director of Indian Conglomerate, The HARTEK Group which is one of the India’s largest EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company.
In a short span he has founded two companies under the Brand HARTEK. His first venture HARTEK India manufactures high end Electrical Panels used in all kinds of industrial and commercial buildings. His second venture, HARTEK Solar was formed to solve the Energy problems of the World in a Sustainable way. The company designs, installs and constructs Roof Top Solar Power
Plants across the country. In a short span the company is among the top 10 Solar installers in the country. Recently, Simarpreet launched, Plug and Play HARTEK Solar Kits for residential houses with a dream that every household should get electricity.
Seeing the work done at such a young age, Simarpreet was appointed as the youngest Chairman of the PHD Chambers of Commerce for the Power and Renewable Regional Committee. He was also named in the Top 40 under 40 Entrepreneurs in India by Solar Quarter. He was recently awarded as the Entrepreneur of the year 2018 by the prestigious SPJIMR awards.
Simarpreet is also a motivational speaker and guest faculty at top Engineering and Business Schools in the Country. Driven by the mission of creating a better and a sustainable future for all in his new found role as an influencer, Simarpreet also launched his YouTube Channel earlier this year to motivate the younger generation to pursue their passion.
