Bangalore startups bank on city angels
The capital of Punjab and Haryana is better known as a little green haven for bureaucrats and retired army officers. But if the internet is disrupting every aspect of our lives, there is no reason Chandigarh should be left out. On Saturday, of the five nascent companies that made a pitch before a unique group of 20 home-grown entrepreneurs who have formed Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN), three were from outside the region, including one from Bangalore.
